IQ Staff is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing company within the FX & Financial Services industry.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payments Specialist to join their team in Cyprus.
📍 Location: Limassol, Cyprus
🕐 Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 05:30-14:00]
What we’re looking for:
→ Previous experience in Payments, Banking, FinTech, Financial Operations, or a similar role
→ Experience working with PSPs, banks, e-wallets and payment solutions
→ Strong understanding of payment processing and transaction flows
→ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions
→ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
→ Good understanding of KYC, AML and financial compliance requirements
→ Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
→ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
→ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and international environment
→ Experience within FX, FinTech or Financial Services is highly desirable
What you’ll be doing:
→ Process daily client deposits, withdrawals and transfers across multiple PSPs, banks and e-wallets
→ Perform daily reconciliation of payment accounts and ensure balances match internal records and ledgers
→ Monitor payment statuses, investigate discrepancies and resolve transaction issues
→ Ensure payment activities comply with internal policies, KYC/AML requirements and applicable financial regulations
→ Prepare and maintain reports covering payment volumes, transaction issues and PSP performance
→ Liaise with Compliance, Risk, Customer Support, Accounting and other internal teams
→ Communicate with external PSPs, banks and payment providers to resolve operational issues
→ Support the onboarding, testing and implementation of new payment methods and providers
→ Assist with escalated client payment queries and ensure timely resolutions
→ Identify opportunities to improve payment processes, efficiency and overall client experience
